The Barnes & Noble Teen Writing Workshop was started by author Ned Vizzini in 2005 in Park Slope, Brooklyn.

From 2007-2012, we posted stories here written by Workshop students age 12-18, covering everything from epic fantasy to personal tragedy.

In 2010, Ned moved to California. The workshop in Brooklyn is now led by author Sarah MacLean at Barnes & Noble Park Slope every month. A Los Angeles chapter led by Ned ran from 2010-2012.
